This hotel is in a quiet neighbourhood of Prishtina, not far from the city centre. All staff is very friendly. The rooms are huge, the bathrooms have top-of-the-line equipment, the furniture is baroquesque:-).
AfA in the centre of Pristina has restaurated the restaurant area.
There is completely new bar with a very competent and – unaltered extremely freindly service . The dining room looks much more comfortable and inviting now with additional cosy corners. The beverage collection has been enriched (you find the most excellent wines of the region and also from many European wine regions.
The food has remained excellent (especially the fish dishes) and so has the friednliness of the staff stayed more than extraordinary. They shake hands with you after the second visit, they still reserve “your” room for you whenever you come – in case the room is taken because you booked late, they upgrade you free of cost.
I stayed at Afa in April for a work trip with IKEA and Save the Children. It was fabulous. The rooms are elegantly appointed complete with a fancy shower with a radio in it! They cleaned daily and made my stay very pleasant, I was in room 316 which had a fabulous courtyard view. I cannot say enough about the food here. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and the staff at both are friendly and fun. I had laundry done at the hotel and the cost was minimal and my clothes smelled wonderful! I would caution you to take a CC with a chip if traveling from US because it saved me when checking out where others had an issue processing US cards without chips. The location was great and walk-able to Mother Theresa Blvd and the city center with shops and cafes etc.. I recommend a visit to Ma Belle for desserts!
